Dr. Adam Tamas Tuboly Ph.D.
Researcher fellow
After having obtained a Ph.D. in philosophy at the University of Pécs, I started working as a junior research fellow at the Institute of Philosophy, Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Now I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Philosophy and a research fellow at the ITD. My research focuses on the history and the philosophy of science, with a special interest in the twentieth century and the social conditions and responsibility of science. I have published two books in Hungary, numerous volumes in English and papers that are directly connected to my research. As twentieth-century history and philosophy of science are filled with various theoretical and practical interdisciplinary projects, ITD provides an ideal place to pursue my philosophical and historical interest with an eye towards the latest questions of the application of science in society.
