On behalf of the organizers we warmly invite you to participate in the 16th Biannual Conference of the Hungarian Neuroscience Society.
Neuroscience in Hungary has a strong tradition of over 150 years, and the biannual meeting is an important and popular event for members of the Hungarian neuroscience community. Due to the extensive networking of Hungarian neuroscientists this national conference regularly includes international speakers in plenary lectures and symposia. The present meeting takes place at the Life Science Building of the University of Debrecen and is organized by the Department of Anatomy, Histology and Embryology of the Faculty of Medicine.
The previous meeting in 2015 celebrated the launch of the largest financial support in the history of Hungarian neuroscience, the National Brain Research Program. Since then the first round of the program has been successfully completed; new research groups have been established, the research infrastructure developed all over the country. Based on the results of the first four-year period the National Brain Research Program has been continued and we hope that the number and diversity of the presentations will further prove the benefits of this unique support scheme.
We are looking forward to a fruitful and successful meeting with your active participation.
